Efendi Turkish Restaurant (BAYVIEW LOCATION)

I love Turkish food, and Effendi is one of the best spots in Toronto. I make a point to visit every few months to enjoy their delicious, high-quality kebabs. I’ve tried the Beyti, Ali Nazik,

Overall had a good experience trying this place for the first time. The appetizers and the food were all very delicious. The only concerns were they pre-pour all the glasses of water on all tables even though they are not being used so you cannot really tell how long that glass might have been sitting there. Also the music they were playing was a little too loud for a restaurant environment. Also ordered the yogurt drink and we were all given bottles that were pretty dirty and had to ask for a glass multiple times so we can pour them into before drinking them.

I love me some good service and this place was lovely. Wonderful food and great portions. We over ordered but was so pleased with everything. Loved the dips and the flavourful meat. Warning that there are nuts in the Turkish delight which was the only issue we had (allergy) and they forgot about when we were given it.
