We never really enjoyed Popeyes until we discovered that pre-ordering for pickup usually meant getting a fresh batch. For a short while, it seemed like they finally turned a corner — our last few orders were hot, fresh, and delicious. We gave them credit for being honest and consistent. Unfortunately, they just can’t keep it up. This time, we specifically ordered a fresh new batch, made the request clearly, and even gave them enough time. But what did we get? Cold, dry chicken that tasted like it had been sitting for hours. It’s so disappointing to feel like you can’t trust a brand to simply do what they promise. If Popeyes can’t keep their word and deliver the food we paid for — especially when we go out of our way to request it — then what’s the point? We gave them multiple chances. We’re done.
